Rebecca Antinozzi – Certified Educator and Private Tutor

An educator, Rebecca Antinozzi, worked in elementary education before becoming a private tutor in 2010. As a private tutor, Rebecca Antinozzi provides in-home instruction in kindergarten through 10th grade.

Ms. Antinozzi teaches small groups of students in English, language arts, and math, tailoring instruction to each student and accommodating 504 plans and Individualized Education Plans. She creates and develops lesson plans in addition to imparting subject matter, reinforcing executive function, study skills, and social-emotional learning techniques.

Additionally, she also collaborates with parents and school staff to evaluate students' challenges and provide support. Ms. Antinozzi draws on two decades of valuable experience, including knowledge of best educational practices and practical strategies that promote student learning, as well as interactive and demonstrative lessons that reinforce comprehension and content.

Outside of her role as a private tutor, Ms. Antinozzi raises money and awareness for the Alzheimer’s Association, Syracuse University, and the National Museum of African American History and Culture. She also donates to The Salvation Army and Big Brothers/Big Sisters of America. She helps underserved communities with food, essentials, clothing, and holiday gifts. Her community affiliations include memberships in the Gamma Phi Beta sorority and the Syracuse University Alumni Association.
